The ABV damper is an automatic balancing damper that maintains a constant airflow volume in HVAC applications. The engineered damper blade and stainless steel spring are laboratory calibrated to automatically adjust to varying pressures—using physics not electricity—giving the ABV damper true pressure independence.
The ABV damper is a reversible product—it can be used for exhaust or supply applications.
However, the ABV damper is air flow dependent and the direction of airflow through the product is critical for proper operation.
Classified by UL to UL 2403 for heat release rate and smoke optical density.
Suitable for application in temperature from 25 to 150F (-4 to 65C). -

Part # 990131. This is an original replacement part for a Renewaire EV300 for Serial Number F06 and after. The replacement part consists of the motor and blower assembly together as one part. This makes it very easy to replace, just remove the old damaged assembly and install the new one. The wiring is done through a quick connect cable terminal. Just make sure that the unit is unplugged before attempting to replace the blower assembly.
It is important to note that the replacement blower assembly for the EV300 changed in June 2006 (S/N F06). This part # 990131 is for units with a serial number starting with F06 and after. If your serial number is E06 and before, then the correct part is 992280. Please supply the complete serial number of your unit when placing an order so we can make sure we ship you the correct replacement part.
